This bonnet has only one layer of satin. It is still oversized and comes with both elastic and a drawstring. Some ladies prefer one layer of satin in the summer months. Without the second layer of satin, more air is allowed to pass through the bonnet to your head to provide a cooler environment inside. It is also a little more light weight than the double lined bonnets.
